"Look at that guy, Mommy!" shrieked the little girl. The mother gasped and then simply replied, "Don't say things like that. We cant help it if that... that BOY dresses in black and wears makeup all the time!" Jason rolled his eyes and continued to walk down Main Street headed towards Hot Topic.

Jason pushed open the door and stepped inside the store. He nodded to a group of guys from school standing near the T-shirt section. All of a sudden, like someone had slapped him, Jason turned to see a girl about his age standing near the pants section watching him. He felt his face start to get hot and realized he was blushing. She flashed him a quick smile and went on with her shopping. On the way home, Jason couldn't stop thinking about that mysterious girl he had seen in Hot Topic. Where was she from? Is she new? What's her name? Why haven't I seen her before? He couldn't seem to get those questions out of his head.
